Jacket Visuals and Track List Released!
The second trailer for the TV anime The Ancient Magus’ Bride season 2, which will begin airing in Japan in April 2023, has been released, and it has been revealed that “Dear” by JUNNA has been chosen as the opening theme.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride is a popular manga series by Kore Yamazaki, with over 10 million copies in circulation worldwide. It received an anime adaptation in 2017, followed by two stage adaptations and an OAD. Following demand from fans, a second season of the anime has been confirmed and will air in Japan starting in April 2023.
JUNNA, who will perform the opening theme song, is a talented artist who also sang “Here” for the first season of The Ancient Magus’ Bride. Upon its release, “Here” reached the number one spot on 10 major distribution sites and was certified as a gold record by the Japan Record Association. Like “Here,” “Dear” was written by Yuho Iwasato and composed and arranged by Yusuke Shirato, with JUNNA as the vocalist.
