We are getting storms here in the valley. It is like we are moving back to the winter time. All we can think about is the turning of the clocks forward. Melting snow. Warmer days and nights. And the blossoming of all the flowers.
It’s been almost a year since the ban of #ソメイヨシノ was lifted and hundreds of countries could listen to the digital version. The song was originally released in 2006. Tsuyoshi wrote it after he went to view the blossoms with his mother, who then turned to him and say ‘How many times will we be able to view the cherry blossoms together?’ realizing the fact that these good times are short and should be cherished. He has a hard time explaining so instead he made a beautiful song for his dear mother.
I do believe he just visited her last summer. 🥰
#iheartjrock played it as often as we could play it. Also appeared on a couple #SakuraUnderground
