We celebrated Arashi member Aiba Masaki birthday. 相葉 雅紀 turned 41 on 12/24. Fans sent in their favorite songs to play and we had a short block to celebrate.
We also celebrated Takahiro Hamada 濵田崇裕 from WEST. His birthday was on 12/19 and he turned 35. His color of the rainbow is purple 💜 He is one of the singers of WEST. also an actor. Fans sent in their requests for his birthday and we had to make a very small block to celebrate. Here is an image from 2021 when he was on the cover 💪
DIE guitarist from DIR EN GREY celebrated his 49th birthday on 12/20/23. We played 2 songs from DIR EN GREY to celebrate his birthday. He’s so lovely, his hair so long and flowing. The DJs had got to see him in action at the NYC performance of DEG back in 2019. ❤️🔥
Another birthday we celebrated was one of the members of BabyMetal Su-Metal or Suzuka Nakamoto 中元 すず香
Her birthday is the same as DIE 12/20 but she only turned 26!
We had a few requests for BabyMetal and played a short block.

Lastly there was another death in the world of jrock in November. The lead singer of The Birthday and Thee Michelle Gun Elephant passed away on 11/26 Yusuke Chiba passed away from cancer. His voice was unique, he will be missed.
