Welcome back to #IHEARTJROCK, tonight we celebrated birthdays and we played some music from Ryuichi Sakamoto in remembrance. Another birthday for Tsuyoshi has been completed. He went live on Instagram and YouTube for a solo birthday party, I watched him become a Chef! It was fun, not as fun as watching him make a song, but it was ok! Our Japanese is still not that great was lost for some of it but it was ok.

Sadly we lost Ryuichi Sakamoto on March 28th.
He was a pioneer of electronic dance music. Performed live on “Soul Train” ( an American Dance show from the long ago) with Yellow Magic Orchestra, he played a lot of synthesizers, pianos. He’s made ambient, industrial, alternative music for years. He was legendary. He will be missed. Please enjoy the celebration of his life with his music. Playlist below. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
