There was a guest in the studio! Ryan was sitting in on #IHEARTJROCK the week before and came back to be on SU the next week. He has a show on VFR on Tuesdays 7PM EST. It’s an hour of local punk, emo, ska, and hardcore and also discussions of upcoming events of the genre.

Nine Inch Nails “The Downward Spiral” turned 30! Released in 1994 the anthem for the sad angry youths of the day. We wore black, fishnets, our hair was black, black make up. We wore combat boots too. It was a legendary album. This was also a request for this week!!
Visual Art/Music accomplishments Peter Christopherson has achieved. He was born Feb 27 1955! Sadly passed quietly on Nov 11 2010 in Bangkok Thailand RIP
- Designed iconic album covers for bands like Pink Floyd (Wish You Were Here) and Peter Gabriel (first three albums) as part of Hipgnosis design group [Hipgnosis album covers].
- Directed a significant number of music videos for artists like Rage Against the Machine, The The, and Van Halen.
- Co-founded the influential industrial band Throbbing Gristle.
- Co-founded Psychic TV with Geoffrey Rushton (aka John Balance).
- Formed the experimental music group Coil (with John Balance) known for its genre-bending sound.
- Composed and produced music for Coil and his solo project The Threshold HouseBoys Choir.
- Remixed tracks for artists like Nine Inch Nails.
JAZ Coleman Feb 26 1960. Real name Jeremy Coleman.
- Fronted the influential post-punk band Killing Joke, known for their dark and experimental sound. Their music has influenced countless bands like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Nine Inch Nails.
- Recognized for his powerful and unique raspy vocals that add intensity to Killing Joke’s music.
- Known for his philosophical and intellectual pursuits, evident in Killing Joke’s lyrics and his public persona.
- Composed orchestral and classical pieces in addition to his work with Killing Joke.
