DJ Sakura and DJ Silent return to the studios for another live #iheartjrock. Tune in SAT 10PM EST on 103.3FM WXOJ-LP Northampton MA USA. We stream on valleyfreeradio.org. We play music from #japan and #retro stuff.

We’re a bit upset about something and would like to share something with you. We recently read a comment to an AI generated photo that left us a bit emotional. To handle this situation, DJ Sakura has been busy making new icons for the radio station and #iheartjrock. She will try to not use the images in the immediate future. It seems a whole year has gone by since creating AI images, and a lot of images have been created as well. It appears to be useless and must start over.

DJ Sakura has already made a radio and a cherry blossom stick. It’s a new beginning.

Which ended up making this.

Anyways, hope you get to tune into #iheartjrock or listen to the archives. We’ll be posting march and april sometimes soon. Really we will.

Update! I made a promo for VFR! Tiny DJ Sakura is back!

DJ Sakura666 and DJ Silent’s newest promo for #iheartjrock. This is about 1 minute long.

This one is only 30 seconds.

A music video for “Stormy,” the latest song released by Nissy and SKY-HI on April 17, has been unveiled on Nissy’s YouTube channel.

Director Daiki Kamoshita, who also worked on the music video for Nissy and SKY-HI’s “SUPER IDOL,” was brought on again for this production.

The music video, which is based on the theme song written specifically for the movie Blue Lock -Episode Nagi, includes memorable exchanges between Nissy and SKY-HI that reflect the lyrics and interactions between the protagonist Nagi and his partner Reo.

We hope you enjoy the visuals, which pay homage to the world of Blue Lock.

MIYAVI has announced his first new album in three years, titled “Lost In Love, Found In Pain.” Part one of this album, “Lost In Love,” will be digitally released on download and streaming websites worldwide this summer.

A short music video for “Eat Eat Eat,” a song included in “Lost In Love,” has been revealed. Directed by Darren Craig, who also handled the album design, the video depicts an impactful scene where MIYAVI is surrounded by four dancing women while he is tied to a chair and threatened with a knife.

The newly released short music video is about 30 seconds long, and several unused cuts from it will be posted as short clips on social media from April 3. We hope you will enjoy this video, which resonates with the album’s theme of “Duality.”

Stay tuned for more updates, including the release of “Running In My Head,” the theme song of Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture, and developments regarding the second part of the album, “Found In Pain.”

Please do not use the message boxes to post spam comments. This is excluding the request page. Please stop.

DJ Sakura666 monitors everything that comes through. She knows what is legit and what is bs. Spam posts are automatically deleted and it’s such a waste of time. Don’t spam it, so we don’t have to delete it.

We allow song requests, band information, upcoming anime notifications, or local concerts supporting Japan and all of Asia. Reaching out to the DJs with personal comments and questions is also acceptable.

IHEARTJROCK will not invest in your GBT or your Bitcoin. We will not fall victim to fake accounts. We don’t deal with money, currency, and this is not a sex site.

DJ Sakura666 and DJ Silent will not be in the studios this Saturday for #IHEARTJROCK. There will be a prerecorded show in place that was recorded sometime in Sept of 2023.

Sorry for the delays in uploading all the latest #SakuraUnderground and #IHEARTJROCK. The DJs are succumbed to some medical situations. DJ Silent had some surgery back in Feb and DJ Sakura666 also went through a procedure on Thursdays. Nothing life threatening, but doing a 3 hour podcast and another hour long podcast plus creating content for social media and uploading podcasts is a boring chore and takes a lot of of the body. Both DJs are not spring chickens anymore!! XD

We are now in our 1st year of a 3 hour podcast!! Our 1st is below, check it out if you have time.

Also we will be celebrating Tomo and Tsuyoshi’s birthdays in a few weeks. Please feel free to sign the birthday wishes pages for each. Thanks for all the birthday wishes so far.

Theme Song of Blue Lock -Episode Nagi-

Today, at the exclusive fanclub event “10th Anniversary LIVE VIEWING TOUR 2023 -Nissy Meets You-” held at the Okinawa Convention Center Theater, it was announced that the collaborative song “Stormy” by Nissy and SKY-HI will be released as a single on April 17, 2024. This song was specially written for the upcoming movie, Blue Lock -Episode Nagi-, scheduled for release in Japanese theaters on April 19, 2024. It marks the second collaboration between SKY-HI and Nissy, following their previous work on “SUPER IDOL.”

Blue Lock, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, is a highly popular manga that has surpassed 30 million copies in total circulation. The anime adaptation, which aired in 2022, drew attention with its intense character portrayals and death game narrative, set in a fierce environment where “only the world’s most egotistical player can become the greatest striker,” and gained global popularity as “the most passionate and craziest soccer anime in history.” The egos of the protagonist, Seishiro Nagi, and his indispensable partner, Reo Mikage, converge in this first-ever theatrical adaptation of the series, and the stoic musical composition portrays the intense human drama as they fiercely compete for a single crown.

Co-created by Nissy, SKY-HI, Ryosuke “Dr.R” Sakai, and Daisuke Nakamura, this song combines an iconic refrain and a powerful beat with Nissy and SKY-HI’s exceptional vocals and rap, along with lyrics that express the charm of Blue Lock.
