Welcome back to another #IHEARTJROCK. This is a 3 hour radio show which plays music from #requests, new music and also music DJ Sakura666 and DJ Silent want to share with listeners. The genres played are from the 80s, mix of USA and UK sometimes, Japan, at the beginning of the night, and then we move to #JPOP, #JROCK some #VK(visual kei is a Japanese music and fashion movement that originated in the late 1980s. The movement is characterized by its flamboyant looks, which include: Striking makeup, Unusual hairstyles, Elaborate costumes, Androgynous aesthetics) and #GachaPOP’ as its called nowadays my Spotify and Apple music.
We take requests during the week from our request page —> #iheartjrock request page We go through each email we receive, and we do not sell emails to a third party. We get lots of new information from these requests that are useful to our podcast. Thank you all for sending requests!
We go live on Valley Free Radio every Sat night at 10PM, the show is recorded and turned into a podcast for later listening enjoyment.
This episode, DJ Silent celebrated the life of Jimmy Buffett with his classic track Margaritaville and talk about how we should visit the restaurant and DJ Silent was amazed at how much the man was worth. DJ Silent also played for us Don Ho Tiny Bubbles, and also told us that Don Ho attended a college in Springfield which is a couple towns over from VFR! There were a couple 80 requests this week, and the rest of the night was music from Japan. Also we celebrated Shunto and Leo from BE:First Daiki from JohnnysWEST birthdays. We received SixTONES new single “CREAK” which we went and played in the background through out the night.
