This week, DJ Silent pays tribute to the esteemed musician Fad Gadget by presenting a selection of his distinguished tracks to commence the evening. Fad Gadget, born Frank Tovey on September 8, 1956, unfortunately passed away at the age of 45 on April 3, 2002. He was a member of the band Silicone Teens and collaborated with Boyd Rice on an experimental album during the 1980s. Following this, DJ Sakura666 chose a Fuzz Box song, compelled by a sense of nostalgia. The evening also featured the new Duran Duran track, “New Moon (Dark Phase),” a slower and darker rendition of the original. Additionally, requests were made for new Pixies as well as a classic song by Radiohead, culminating the night with The Cure’s “Fascination Street.”
