TOKYO, JAPAN, From August 16th to August 18th in Poznan, Poland, one of Europe’s largest fantasy conventions, Pyrkon, hosted the anime and manga-focused “HIKARI Festival.” Among the lineup was STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, which not only performed but also debuted the event’s theme song. September 20th marks the digital release of that theme song, titled “HIKARI.”

Created specifically for the HIKARI Festival, this track embodies STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION’s belief that “music connects people around the world.” The song incorporates sounds and choral elements sourced from both Poland and Japan, meticulously crafted into a harmonious work. The result is an anthem where anime and music enthusiasts across borders come together to create a unifying chorus.

Additionally, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION is excited to announce the upcoming release of the digital album STEREO DIVE 03 this fall. The album will feature not only “HIKARI” but also numerous theme songs for popular TV anime such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, SYNDUALITY Noir, and Sengoku Youko. Comment from HIKARI Festival organizer – We are so thrilled that RON has made the theme song for Hikari Festival. It shows the bright and joyful character of our event. We created the Festival with the idea of “from fans to fans”, and this song expresses that in both its production and performance. In a unique experience, the fans could take part in the production by recording their voices, which were used in the piece. And then, during the SDF concert in Poland, we all sang the chorus together, which allowed everyone to become a part of the performance. Thank you for composing this song for us!
