Welcome to #IHEARTJROCK !! We are a 3 hour radio show that airs on the radio every Saturday nights at 10pm EST. DJ Sakura666 plays music from Japan, and DJ Silent along with listeners play other assorted things too. We take requests from the request page. We make silly comments. We sing a long. #IHEARTJROCK was so happy to attend the BE:FIRST World Tour 2025 in NYC. It was the day before DJ Sakura666 birthday so it was very special for her. Below is a brief introduction to the band and then we jump into all the videos.
BE:FIRST 7 member Japanese pop band. They dance and sing, managed by BMSG. They formed Nov 3rd 2021, when they won in the competition show.
SOTA Shunto MANATO(has a youtube video covering Plastic Love) Ryuhei Junon Ryoki(has acted in a few movies and television dramas) and Leo
Ryoki is currently taking a break. He will rest and keep us posted.
Their song Shining One was their first single, it was the song which made them win the competition.
They did come to USA June 8th. IHEARTJROCK did get a room right across from the venue. We were so lucky! Our window was facing the doors to The Webster Hall. We got to watch them bring in all the equipment. We got to see all the hardcore fans lining up on the sidewalk, and hang out there all day. DJ Silent and I joked we were spying on people, because we thought we were in a spy hotel. We were being silly, but DJ Sakura was looking down around noon time and saw a van appeared below. Next thing you see all the band members entering the club. We weren’t sure until we saw the posts on their social media pages. We could see the line, we actually got to watch the line!
Then at the venue, DJ Silent was having some issues and needed to sit down. The people at the venue were very nice. They let him use the elevator and gave him a seat. I got to sit next too. We had a nice view of the stage, when standing. Unfortunately we had to leave after SCREAM, DJ Silent wasn’t feeling good. So we missed the rest of the show. Does anyone have a setlist? DJ Sakura was happy they played SOS, Grow Up, Mainstream. The projector on the back wall during Masterplan was falling Sakura Petals. 🥰🌸
DJ Sakura did take a bunch of video. Below are all of them. Except the video of them coming in to the venue. LOL

Just a warning !! This last video is of DJ Sakura and DJ Silent looking for the rest room in this building. DJ Sakura accidently left the camera on. Spacecraft and more. Also. Some weird lighting. Please be careful. I’m sorry if you hear some yelling. The Webster Hall is huge.
It was a great performance even if we didn’t get the VIP package, or we didn’t stay for the whole night. But we both put on those shirts after we left. LOL

DJ Sakura's birthday is a day after the BE:FIRST concert in NYC. This is the before photo. She is doing fine. Excited to go back to NYC.
A DJ Silent appears!! He is so excited to go to NYC! He loves to walk around the city. His new favorite neighborhood is 3rd and e11th.
DJ Silent is driving down to the train station. It's a nice ride on the train to NYC. You can see a lot of the ocean. It's also fun going underground in the city.
First time on a train in a few years. Our favorite lot was full and it made us in uncharted territories. We made it to the train for the 2 hour ride into the city. The train isn't so packed today. That's a good thing. The AC is cranked and we are chilly !
Once in the city. DJ Sakura turned into a pink haired elf. Wearing a black crushed velvet dress. Standing in front of an emoji light fixture on an all mirror walled elevator.
DJ Silent is talking about his feelings towards this hotel room. It is very small. Too small. It has the biggest window. It's too bright. But we can see the door to the venue.
DJ Sakura hair is pink. It's ok. It washes out. Punky Colours was used. DJ Silent also did some clipping with her hair.
Below are a few shots from around the neighborhood. DJ Sakura took these shots. The view from the hotel bedroom. The marque of BE:FIRST. These cute Bubble Tea icons. There is an HMART. The hotel had those alphabet magnates and tic tac toe. We took advantage for a few minutes. Then a large image of that emoji light fixture.
DJ Silent in front of the infamous Shake Shack. His opinion "Consider all the hype we have heard; Shake Shack is over rated." He would eat it again in a pinch. But wouldn't be his first choice. DJ Silent is then pictured wearing a vintage red silk button down made by Night Club.
DJ Sakura's outfit for the night. Fishnet shirt is reminiscent of American mesh football. Also the 80s.
A video clip of DJ Silent and DJ Sakura666 in the emoji elevator. The vibe in there was very club like. But the music was very indie and David Bowie.
