The Rise and Hiatus of VAMPS: What Happened?

Vamps formed in 2008. They are unfortunately on hiatus since the end of 2017. The band I am writing about tonight is VAMPS , and if you do not know who they are. Then this post will catch you up.

and if you know of them, then you can look at pretty pictures !

K.A.Z was the backing guitarist for Hyde’s solo project. Hyde was interested in K.A.Z’s musical input so VAMPS started. They got the name from the images and vibes of mysterious woman and femme fatale. Hyde was also in the movie Moonchild, who also starred Gackt. In the movie, they were both vampires.

Their first single was ‘Love Addict’ ; very catchy track. Below is the official video.

After that, VAMPS were huge! Fans flocked to their live shows! They went on hiatus at the end of 2017. All the members of the bands went separate ways. K.A.Z and Arly went on to Oblivion Dust, Ju-Ken played support for many many famous singers and song writers. Hyde is still putting out solo albums. Will they ever return? Below our images I had in my library and other places from the internet.
